The "White Nights" International Ophthalmology Congress is Russia's leading event for local, regional (former Soviet Union countries), and international Ophthalmology professionals. The Congress takes place annually in St. Petersburg, Russia, in late May, during the White Nights Lasting about a week, the Congress programme was rich with lectures featuring the World's Ophthalmology opinion leaders, various training sessions and entertainment.

Ocular infections are a pervasive threat and remain a leading cause of global blindness. Infections of the eye continue to challenge clinicians around the world with making an accurate, rapid diagnosis, as well as, provision of optimal therapy given the emergence of spread of antimicrobial resistance. We are pleased that the 7th International Conference on Ocular Infections will be held at the Fira de Barcelona, in Barcelona Spain from September 3-4, 2015, bringing experts from around the world providing the latest clinical and basic research advances to help meet these challenges.
